What this pair is

A 6 mm replacement footbed: 1.2 mm of leather over 4.8 mm of closed-cell foam.

Fitting it in place of the original footbed adds up to 4 mm to whatever is already under your forefoot, depending on the thickness of the footbed it replaces. Every product page lists the maximum replacement thickness that pair accepts.

This is a wear part. Nothing is claimed for it beyond its thickness and its material.

Break-in

None. The foam takes a permanent set of roughly 0.5 mm within the first month.

Care

Lift out and air after long wear. Replace when the foam no longer returns to its full height overnight. Full care guide.
